Death Goddess

a guided plant medicine journey in monument, Colorado

June 25-28

Embark on a journey into the inner / outer limits with the help of plant medicine and La Mort this June! We will spend 3 days holding a transformative space for one another as we delve into the healing power of plant medicine. Together we will explore the Mysteries, and celebrate our authentic selves through play, crafting, reflection, and a personal, goddess photoshoot (capturing the divine that lives within us all). We’ll share in arts, crafts, and spirit dolls, and experience beauty, joy, grief, laughter and love in abundance.

We can’t wait to share this experience with you!

Lauren Carroll is your guide to the other side. This is Lauren's 7th plant medicine retreat, which she has facilitated and participated in as both guide and participant. This year, she completed her education and training to become a licensed psilocybin facilitator in the state of Colorado, allowing her to legally facilitate psilocybin journeys for people facing end of life and their families, supporting them through grief.

She is honored to have Sarah co-facilitate this retreat — a recent classmate from the licensing program, as well as a past retreat participant and student. To say this work is life-changing would be an understatement, and they are living proof.

Our Teaching / Learning / Creating Style at La Mort

We leave behind the polished, gate-keepy approach to education. We teach in ways that carry story and experience. We listen. We laugh (a lot). We go off-script sometimes. We cry (with you)(for those you’ve loved)(for those we’ve loved). We like science and studies and logical frameworks, but also mysticism and poetry and all that stuff. We really love to honor history and those who came before. We move through some serious curricula, but don’t take anything too seriously. We dedicate ourselves to seeing you, and want you to feel seen. We deeply honor our intuition and yours. We lead with integrity (always). And we welcome the odd-balls and misfits,  because it takes one to know one.
