It's the place of endings, transcendence, dreams, and spiritual lessons - where both our "self-undoing" and our deepest healing live. This three-part class series will teach you about your individual 12th house, its aspects, and its influences on your life - exploring the hidden terrain of your inner world from solitude to transcendence.

Each of our 12th houses holds dark secrets and immense potential for growth. Some say it shows us the way to our deepest healing and even spiritual liberation. But in order to transform the unseen or unacknowledged aspects of our natures, we must come into relationship with that which is hidden.
The 12th house is astrology's final frontier - the place where your conscious mind meets your unconscious, where your ego dissolves and something deeper emerges. It governs the parts of yourself you've relegated to shadow, the dreams and intuitions you can't quite name, and the grief you carry in your body.
In this class, you'll learn to read your own 12th house - its sign, its planetary rulers, and the aspects that shape it. You'll explore your feelings, patterns, dreams, grief, and intuitions through this lens, welcoming them as doorways into deeper self-knowledge rather than things to fix or transcend.
This is work that asks you to go to scary places with yourself. To sit with what's uncomfortable. To befriend what's been hidden. Through guided exploration and reflection, we'll walk together through your 12th house terrain - from the places of solitude and imagination to the thresholds of surrender and transcendence.

This class is for anyone who is ready to go to scary places with themselves , to explore what's been hidden or unacknowledged; for those new to astrology seeking a lens for self-discovery and a more comfortable relationship with their challenges; for those drawn to shadow work, Jungian psychology, and the mystical aspects of therapy; for creative and intuitive souls who live in the realms of feeling, sensing, dreams, and imagination; for those navigating grief, endings, or life transitions; and for workers in death, healing, or spiritual fields who understand that this work requires undoing.

Rhiannon Pollard
Dr. Rhiannon Pollard, PhD, is the creator of Self-Undoing: Opening the Door to the 12th House.
With her Libra Sun in the 12th house and a Scorpio Moon, Rhiannon has spent her life—knowingly and at times unknowingly—exploring hidden truths, mysticism, and spirituality. She is a walker-between-worlds whose life path is about healing what isn’t working by integrating the unseen and the seen, the soft and the strong, the graceful and the raw. She believes that when we transform, we move into and through a nether space between two versions of ourselves, between two states of being; in some ways, we die and are reborn each time we change, grow, or evolve into a new phase of existence. These liminal spaces are places where power and magic exists.
As a Reiki practitioner, life coach, transformational coach, and death doula/coach, she holds compassionate space for others to integrate and transmute their suffering, difficulty, and darkness into gratitude, wisdom, and beauty. Her greatest gift is in continually discovering the light that shines even in the depths and learning how to hold that light for others to emerge from (and alongside) their shadows.
Rhiannon is a mom, a cat familiar, a partner, and a hedge witch who has a PhD in education and spends most her time away from La Mort as an instructional design director at a large university. She also has a deep background in digital and web design, writing, and music. She is regularly in awe over the way, however divergent from each other, all her skills and abilities seem to weave themselves into relevance in nearly all areas of her life.
Our Teaching / Learning / Creating Style at La Mort
We leave behind the polished, gate-keepy approach to education. We teach in ways that carry story and experience. We listen. We laugh (a lot). We go off-script sometimes. We cry (with you)(for those you’ve loved)(for those we’ve loved). We like science and studies and logical frameworks, but also mysticism and poetry and all that stuff. We really love to honor history and those who came before. We move through some serious curricula, but don’t take anything too seriously. We dedicate ourselves to seeing you, and want you to feel seen. We deeply honor our intuition and yours. We lead with integrity (always). And we welcome the odd-balls and misfits, because it takes one to know one.
